Having notched up so much experience travelling and working in extreme environments, I know that any fool can be cold and uncomfortable. The trick is to use the right kit and equipment, in the right combination and in the right way. I have tried and tested tons of gear and have pieced together a collection I consider to be fit for purpose and would wholly recommend. All the items I've found to work well (save for the female attire which female friends and colleagues have tested!).
